David Williams came to us after a long career Chesterfield County Public Schools where he served as a kindergarten teacher, prekindergarten teacher, family engagement coordinator, education manager, and Head Start/V.P. I Director.
David has a master’s degree in elementary education with endorsements in special ed, early childhood education, and administration and supervision. He has presented at the local, state and national level on the value of high-quality early education as a springboard to success in school and life. He has also been a strong advocate of engaging families in all aspects of a child’s education.
A favorite quote of David’s is “Nothing is more important to success in schools than the quality of relationships between and among students, staff and parents” (James P. Comer) and he uses this daily in his role as Special Project Coordinator to support the mission of Smart Beginnings Greater Richmond.
